Methodology
SR® is a Counseling Coaching discipline which is not designed for nor does it use terms such as Modify, Manage or Cope. SR® is designed for a complete, positive, empowered change. It simply does not make sence to Modify, Manage or Cope with anything which does not work.
Subconscious Restructuring® Definition: SR® is an evidence-based 7 Step behavioral health process designed to interrupt and reprogram one’s emotional state and behavior from the nucleus of the subconscious.
The Conscious Mind has One Purpose and this is to deliver information to the subconscious, the subconscious does everything else. This is why if you wish to improve a relationship, improve your business, quickly move up the ladder at work, make more money or change a behavior which simply does not work, you must know how the subconscious works.
The SR® process is normally accomplished in seven steps over a four hour period with the most dramatic results achieved in two-two hour sessions on consecutive days. Follow-up sessions are normally one hour each. Following is an overview of this 7 Step Process.

After making an account at BurrisConnect.com the soldier will have full access to all 7 Steps of the SR® process and is ready to be assigned to an SR® Counselor. The SR® Counselor has the option of making the assignment come to them automatically by simply creating a personal SR® Workshop and then sending the link to the soldier.
The Certified SR® Counselor uses Guidelines written in script form, so there is consistent implementation of the process across all Certified SR® Counselors. There are two designations in the guidelines and they are “CSRC” and “Note.” Any time you see “Note”, this is Kelly Burris, PhD speaking to the SR® Counselor and anytime you see “CSRC” this is the SR® Counselor speaking to the client. Before moving to Step 2, a series of questions will immediately engage the subconscious of the Warrior and give a clear explanation of how the SR® process works and how it will empower them to take control.
After successfully addressing the most urgent needs of the US Military with regard to successfully treating PTSD and implementing a successful suicide prevention program, a wider systemic integration of the SR® program throughout all US Army commands will have far reaching ramifications. As has already been proven over the 27 year SR® Program history, this program intervention is highly successful, both as a PTSD/suicide intervention tool, and as a mental health wellness process applicable to virtually all US Army personnel. As an example, implementation of the SR® process at the very beginning, during basic training will act as a powerful preventative measure.
There is a consistent process that everyone must go through in order to act out any behavior. Because the SR® program approaches emotional and behavioral issues from the very beginning of this process, it has proven to work exceptionally well with virtually all disorders. The far reaching ramifications of using the SR® Program Army-wide, from personnel entry to exit, will transform the US Military into a much more efficient and synergistic wellness entity overall.
