Doctor Ron Clark, a Master SR™ Coach, is a Chicago-born former 27 year Marine Corps fighter pilot. Lieutenant Colonel Clark retired in 1985, relocated to Mesa, Arizona. Following a BS in Social Psychology, and a MA in Counseling, he earned a doctorate in Human Development in 1989, and worked for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, retiring from ERAU in 2006 as an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Academics. Since 1986, Dr. Clark has worked as a counselor in private practice, concentrating on marriage and family counseling involving issues of separation, divorce, and stepfamily bonding. A certified clinical hypnotist, Dr. Clark was mentored in clinical hypnosis by Dr. Jeffrey Zeig, long-time Director of the Milton Erickson Foundation for Clinical Hypnosis in Scottsdale. From 1988 to the present, Dr. Clark has facilitated or co-facilitated some 375 group therapy sessions for single parents. Beginning in 1986, Dr. Clark has delivered more than 200 seminars and workshops in the Southwest on the effects of divorce, overcoming depression, suicide prevention, blending stepfamilies, enhancing self esteem, and becoming a high EQ person. Dr. Clark and his wife, Sherri Clark, M.S., own and operate The Center For Life Transitions in Mesa, where they currently life coach clients.
