Suicide Prevention
There is a consistent process every human being must go through in order to bring about an emotional state and behavior. One must understand this process if one wishes to interrupt the internal subconscious process that may lead to suicide. The singular focus of SR® is on how each individual processes information from the deepest level of the subconscious. This is the foundation by which to move someone away from this potentially fatal thought process.

Suicide is the most emphatic indicator of how broken the mental health system is. Every time someone kills themselves it is all about what drove them to it or, what were the external events that caused them to commit this act? Suicide is not about external events. As long as one continues to look for excuses as to why someone committed this final act the problem will never be resolved.
Statistics
  • In 2004, 32,439 (approximately 11 per 100,000) people died by suicide in the U.S.(7)
  • More than 90 percent of people who kill themselves have a diagnosable mental disorder, most commonly a depressive disorder or a substance abuse disorder.(8)
  • The highest suicide rates in the U.S. are found in white men over age 85.9
  • Four times as many men as women die by suicide9; however, women attempt suicide two to three times as often as men.(10)
